2. Who would benefit from net neutrality?

I garner that big business would benefit from a loss of net neutrality. Large business electronic actions would be given precedence over general user actions, potentially restricting benefits of the internet for general users.

I agree with Jake's post that it certainly appears that big business would benefit from a net neutrality law taking effect, in particular the large telecom companies. One of the points made in one of the articles was that these companies have taken a risk in extending internet service to people who otherwise would not have it, and should be rewarded for their venture. However, one must imagine that the costs, both to consumers and to the innovative nature of the internet, far outweigh the arguments made by the industry.

telecommunications and cable companies oppose net neutrality, so Im guessing they would benefit from it.
